Things I know about Tanzania as at end Aug 08:
- it's in Africa
- it's huge
- it's where kilimanjaro is
- the main language is Swahili and I have learnt a little (Jambo!)
- it borders lots of places such as Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, Burundi
- it includes the islands of Zanzibar and Mafia
- the capital is not Dar es Salaam (Dar to us now, darlings)
- it's on the Indian Ocean
- the currency is shillings
- you have to ask everyone how they are multiple times - and the answer will always be positive
- Mtwara had something to do with peanuts
- The Germans and the Brits were around at some point, and not necessarily at the same time

Hmm, not much so far, but more than a few months ago at least! Onwards and upwards...
